In the outskirts of Austin, lies an Organic farm, which is meant to provide a teaching space for the local community. Our construction III class was asked to design and build three elements of the site. 

The guest edge delineates the path towards the visitor’s house, the main teaching area. This space needed to be shaded, contain a seating area and stairs to access the rose garden located about 2 feet above the path. It was meant to enhance the experience of the visitor, allow for areas of interaction and contemplation for the community members.
